The heroic citizen, identified as 43-year-old Ahmed Al Ahmed, confronted one of the armed attackers and disarmed him, preventing further casualties. In the process, Ahmed himself was shot twice in the arm and is currently recovering in a hospital, where doctors have confirmed that his condition is stable.
