This achievement came during Pakistan’s second T20 match against South Africa in Lahore, where the national team defeated the visitors by nine wickets to level the three-match series 1-1.

Previously, Rohit Sharma had scored 4,231 runs in 159 matches and 151 innings, averaging 32.05, and held the record for the most centuries in T20 internationals. Indian stalwarts Virat Kohli, who has 4,188 runs in 117 innings with an average of 48.69, and England’s experienced batter Jos Buttler, with 3,869 runs in 132 innings, rank just behind the top.
