Following the explosion, Islamabad Police sealed off the area and launched a security operation. Doctors confirmed that several injured individuals are undergoing treatment, while others are reported to be in stable condition.
The district administration of Islamabad confirmed that at least 10 injured persons were shifted to PIMS Hospital, with more victims being transported to other medical facilities as a precautionary measure. Authorities emphasized that all necessary medical resources have been mobilized to provide timely treatment.
Police sources said the Bomb Disposal Squad has begun a detailed investigation to determine the nature of the blast. Initial findings have not yet confirmed whether the explosion was caused by an explosive device or another source.
