Peshawar: Javaidullah Mehsud, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Kurram, has been replaced by Muhammad Ashfaq following a recent firing incident in the Bagan area of Lower Kurram, in which Mehsud sustained injuries.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Establishment Department has issued a notification confirming the appointment of Muhammad Ashfaq as the new Deputy Commissioner of Kurram.
Javaidullah Mehsud was injured in a shooting incident yesterday while carrying out his duties. Following the incident, the government has appointed Ashfaq as the new DC to take charge of the administration in Kurram.
