Pakistan Army Claims Major Success in Operation Ghazab

ISLAMABAD(The COW News Digital) Pakistan’s military has reported significant results during Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, claiming the elimination of 481 members of the Afghan Taliban regime and injuring over 696 others. The operation, which targets militant strongholds across the Afghan border, has also led to the destruction of 226 Taliban checkpoints, with 35 of them captured by Pakistani forces.

Information Minister Atta Tarar provided an official update as of 4:00 PM on March 4, 2026. He stated that the Pakistan Army’s counter-offensive has also destroyed 198 tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery guns, demonstrating the scale and intensity of the operation.

Minister Tarar added that aerial strikes across 56 key locations in Afghanistan were carried out effectively, targeting strategic positions held by the Taliban. The coordinated ground and air offensive highlights Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to neutralizing militant threats along its borders.
