Islamabad (The COW News Digital) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has expressed serious concern over the health of the party’s founder, Imran Khan, saying that the latest information regarding his condition is not encouraging.

Barrister Gohar said the reports had raised widespread concern among the public, stressing that Imran Khan’s health must not be compromised under any circumstances.

Speaking to the media, the PTI chairman said a meeting had taken place between Imran Khan and Barrister Salman Safdar. During the meeting, information regarding the former prime minister’s health and instructions concerning various legal cases were reportedly received.

Barrister Gohar said an application had been filed in the Supreme Court seeking an early hearing of the case concerning Imran Khan’s transfer to a hospital for medical treatment.

He explained that the petition seeks implementation of the Supreme Court’s August 18 order, which reportedly directed that Imran Khan be shifted and provided with appropriate medical care.

According to Barrister Gohar, the court had also ordered the formation of a medical board to oversee Imran Khan’s treatment. The PTI chairman urged the Supreme Court to schedule the case for an early hearing.

He reiterated that the former prime minister’s medical condition required serious attention and called for necessary decisions regarding his hospital transfer and treatment.

Barrister Gohar also addressed the broader political situation in the country, urging authorities to prevent further escalation of political tensions.

He called for an end to the alleged arrests and detentions of lawmakers, party workers and supporters, saying that the current situation should not be allowed to continue.

The PTI chairman further expressed concern over the reported detention of Imran Khan’s sisters. He said their whereabouts and circumstances remained unclear and demanded their immediate release.

Meanwhile, PTI Senator Mishal Yousafzai also called for an early hearing of the case outside the Supreme Court.

Speaking to journalists, she said Imran Khan’s sisters were currently in jail while concerns about the former prime minister’s health were increasing.

Mishal Yousafzai stated that the case had not been scheduled for hearing despite four weeks having passed. She urged the Supreme Court to fix the matter for the following week.

She also referred to information reportedly received about Imran Khan’s condition at Adiala Jail, claiming that his blood pressure had reached 192 due to solitary confinement.

The claim was made by Mishal Yousafzai during her media interaction and has not been independently verified in the provided report.

The PTI leadership is seeking judicial intervention over Imran Khan’s medical care, with party representatives insisting that appropriate treatment and hospital transfer arrangements should be made without delay.

The latest developments have intensified political debate surrounding the former prime minister’s detention, health and access to medical facilities.

The party has urged the judiciary and relevant authorities to address the matter promptly, while also calling for steps to reduce political tensions and ensure the release of detained family members.
