RAWALPINDI (The COW News Digital) Incarcerated founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Islami (PTI), Imran Khan, underwent a comprehensive medical examination at Adiala Jail conducted by a specialized team of doctors and paramedical personnel.

According to prison sources, the visiting medical panel comprised specialists from the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) and Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital, equipped with necessary diagnostic tools. The medical evaluation was led by PIMS physician Dr. Arif Khan, with technical assistance provided by the Adiala Jail hospital staff.

The detailed check-up encompassed evaluations of the former prime minister’s cardiovascular parameters, including blood pressure monitoring, cholesterol assessment, and a specialized ophthalmological examination.
The medical assessment follows heightened health concerns expressed by Khan’s legal team and family. Following the completion of all diagnostic procedures, the medical team concluded the session and departed from the prison premises.
