KARACHI (The COW News Digital) Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leadership dismissed media reports claiming party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is set to tie the knot with a Liechtenstein-based family, labeling the circulating stories as completely fabricated.
The denial followed widespread news reports claiming President Asif Ali Zardari had flown to Liechtenstein—a small landlocked European nation situated between Switzerland and Austria—alongside close family members to finalize marriage arrangements for his son. Unverified sources had suggested that the prospective bride hailed from Vaduz, Liechtenstein’s capital, with a wedding ceremony tentatively planned for late 2026.
Responding to the viral rumors, Murtaza Wahab, Mayor of Karachi and official spokesperson for the PPP Chairman, issued a clear refutation on social media platform X. He confirmed that all news regarding Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s alleged engagement or impending nuptials in Europe is entirely unfounded and untrue.
Party insiders noted that President Zardari’s private travels were routinely misconstrued by speculative media coverage, assuring supporters that any official life update regarding the PPP Chairman would be shared formally by the family when appropriate.
