A subsequent search of the truck revealed a pistol, a magazine, and documents allegedly outlining plans for an attack. These papers reportedly contained repeated phrases such as “kill everyone — martyrdom” and detailed instructions on evading capture and using additional weapons.

Police officials emphasized that the documents indicated a premeditated plan involving tactical procedures consistent with a potential armed assault.

While the full motivations behind the alleged plot are not yet clear, Khan reportedly told authorities after his arrest that “martyrdom is among the greatest deeds.”

Media sources indicate that the documents also included a detailed map of the University of Delaware Police Department, highlighting entry and exit points, as well as the name of a specific officer.

Following the arrest, local authorities immediately alerted the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The next day, the FBI conducted a raid at Khan’s residence, where additional sophisticated weapons were seized.

The FBI has confirmed that Khan is a Pakistani-American citizen and a current student at the University of Delaware. The police station at the university is believed to have been the intended target of the alleged attack.

Luqman Khan is scheduled to appear in court on December 11, where further legal proceedings will take place. Police and FBI officials continue to investigate the case to determine the full extent of the plot and any possible accomplices.

Authorities have urged vigilance but stated there is no immediate threat to the general public, emphasizing that the arrest and confiscation of weapons have prevented any potential incident.
