Pakistani Female Boxer Alia Somro Wins International Boxing Match

The success of Pakistani boxers continues on the global stage, with a female boxer contributing to raising the country’s name in the world of sports.

Alia Somro, hailing from the Lyari area of Karachi, has made Pakistan proud by winning an international boxing match.

According to reports, in a professional boxing fight held in Bangkok, Thailand, Alia Somro knocked out her opponent, Thai boxer Suthida Gunayanuch, securing the victory.

Under the TL Boxing Promotion at the World Siam Stadium, Alia Somro won the 10-round professional boxing match in the fourth round.

Alia Somro, from Lyari’s Kalakot area, previously clinched victories in several countries. She won in the WBA Asia’s 105-pound category.

In August, Alia Somro is scheduled for a challenge fight against an Indian female boxer. Following her recent success, Alia expressed her excitement, stating that the win had boosted her confidence. She expressed her intention to defeat the Indian boxer and further elevate the reputation of her country and nation with the continued support and prayers of the people.
