According to reports, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari held a telephonic conversation with Aleem Khan in which the PPP leadership extended an invitation to the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party to jointly form a government in Gilgit-Baltistan. Aleem Khan accepted the offer and assured full support to the PPP in the formation of the new government. He stated that his party would stand alongside PPP in the election process for top legislative and executive positions within the assembly.
