National ( The cow news digital ) Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Fazal-ur-Rehman has said that the security situation across Pakistan, including Sindh and other provinces, remains concerning and requires a coordinated and credible national strategy to restore peace and stability.

Speaking at a minority wing event of JUI-F in Karachi, he stressed that all communities and religious groups are part of the country and must be treated equally. He said that Islam promotes peace and humanity, and his party has always advocated for the protection of minority rights.

Fazal-ur-Rehman emphasized that state institutions must develop a comprehensive and unified policy to address growing insecurity, arguing that peace is essential for safeguarding life, property, and dignity. He warned that instability in different provinces is affecting overall governance and public confidence.

He noted that the situation in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan is particularly troubling, calling for urgent attention to law and order challenges. According to him, sustainable peace can only be achieved if the government ensures justice and equal rights for all citizens, including religious minorities.

The JUI-F leader also highlighted the importance of collective national responsibility, stating that improving the country’s conditions and economy requires joint efforts from all stakeholders. He reiterated that political and religious leadership must work together to strengthen institutions and promote harmony.

He referred to historical examples to underline his party’s stance on minority rights, stating that educational and religious freedoms must be respected and protected. He added that coercive policies in the past have created mistrust and should not be repeated.

The speech comes amid ongoing political debate in Pakistan over security, governance, and economic challenges, with various leaders calling for reforms and improved coordination between federal and provincial authorities.
