AJK Elections: PML-N Wins LA-27, PPP Secures LA-28 in Muzaffarabad Constituency Results

National ( The cow news digital ) Complete unofficial and unconfirmed results have emerged for constituencies LA-27 and LA-28 in the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly elections following delayed polling in select areas.

In LA-27 Muzaffarabad-1, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Noreen Arif secured victory with 18,919 votes, narrowly defeating Sardar Tabarak Ali of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), who runner-up with 18,621 votes.

In LA-28 Muzaffarabad, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate Bazil Ali Naqvi emerged victorious by polling 28,170 votes, defeating PML-N’s Chaudhry Shahzad, who placed second with 26,864 votes.

Delayed Polling Overview

According to the Election Commission, polling in LA-27 had been postponed earlier due to adverse weather conditions, while voting at specific stations in LA-28 was delayed due to logistical hurdles in delivering election materials.

Overall, during the second phase of the AJK Legislative Assembly elections covering eight constituencies in the Muzaffarabad division and 12 seats reserved for refugees, PML-N led the overall tally by securing 14 seats, while the PPP claimed 5 seats.
