ISLAMABAD — Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has categorically rejected claims regarding a recent meeting with incarcerated party founder Imran Khan, stating that he has not met the former prime minister since October 15, 2025.

Speaking directly to the media, Barrister Gohar addressed recent speculation, emphasizing that despite multiple formal requests submitted to the relevant authorities, he has not been granted permission or a single opportunity to see the PTI founder. He expressed deep frustration over the continued restrictions and renewed his appeal for unhindered access, demanding that family members and legal counsels also be allowed to meet Imran Khan without facing deliberate institutional hurdles.

The clarification comes in the wake of statements made by Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator Saleem Mandviwalla. While speaking to reporters outside Parliament, Mandviwalla claimed he had been informed that the PTI chairman had recently met with the party founder, adding that rumors surrounding Imran Khan’s health were unfounded.

However, Barrister Gohar’s strict denial highlights the ongoing friction and strict visitation barriers surrounding the high-profile prisoner. PTI leadership continues to press authorities to ease prison constraints, asserting that regular legal and familial communication is a fundamental right that continues to be denied under politically charged circumstances.
