BUNER — Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi criticized Nawaz Sharif and the federal government, alleging they blocked the transfer of jailed PTI founder Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital despite Supreme Court directives.

Speaking to supporters at Sawari Chowk in Buner during an ongoing public mobilization movement, Afridi stated that a three-judge panel of the Supreme Court had instructed authorities to facilitate Khan’s medical care in the presence of his sister. However, he alleged that the current ruling administration disregarded the judicial order, describing the government as a “fake setup” operating above the constitution.

Reaffirming plans for a political demonstration, the Chief Minister announced that the scheduled September 27 long march on Islamabad would proceed without compromise. He called on citizens to mobilize for judicial independence, political sovereignty, and relief from economic hardship, declaring that the movement aims for a complete political resolution.
