National ( The cow news digital ) PESHAWAR: Senior Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Murad Saeed has issued a strong reaction and raised critical questions directed at the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) following recent violent incidents, casualties among police personnel, and crackdown on peace rallies in Swat.

In a statement released on Monday, Murad Saeed condemned the violent crackdown on peaceful demonstrators holding white flags during the “Aman Pasoon” (Peace Assembly) in Kabal, Swat. He asserted that targeting peace advocates clearly reveals who holds responsibility for the region’s instability. He claimed that recent explosions and shootings across the Malakand division are orchestrated attempts to instill widespread fear and stage a new wave of terrorism.

The PTI leader highlighted that he had formally warned the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial government and relevant security agencies seven months prior, providing detailed intelligence regarding the resurging presence of militant elements in the region.

Furthermore, Murad Saeed urged the Swat and Malakand police divisions to cease covering up key security events. He called on authorities to disclose the full facts regarding security incidents in the Matta mountains, the 2023 Kabal Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) lines explosion, and the ongoing casualties among police personnel.

Reiterating his resolve, Saeed declared that the peace, tourism, and socio-economic progress established in Malakand since 2013 would not be allowed to deteriorate, regardless of the elements attempting to disrupt regional security.
