National ( The cow news digital ) The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) have agreed to sit together for negotiations at the office of the National Assembly Speaker, marking a potential move toward political dialogue between the two major parties.

The development came during Geo News’ programme “Capital Talk,” where Minister of State Barrister Aqeel Malik invited PTI representatives to participate in talks. PTI leader Shafqat Abbas Awan immediately accepted the invitation during the programme, with host Hamid Mir witnessing the exchange.

Barrister Aqeel Malik assured PTI that he would contact National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq on the same day and request that arrangements be made to begin discussions with the opposition party as soon as possible.

Accepting the invitation, Shafqat Abbas Awan said that he would attend the meeting along with senior PTI leadership, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, and Raja Nasir Abbas. He added that the party representatives would reach the Speaker’s office or Committee Room No. 5, wherever the meeting is scheduled.

The agreement comes amid ongoing political tensions in Pakistan, where both government and opposition parties have faced pressure to engage in dialogue on key national issues. The proposed meeting is being viewed as an attempt to create space for communication and address political differences through negotiations.
