National ( The cow news digital ) Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has stated that the soldiers and individuals who sacrificed their lives in defence of Pakistan are a source of pride for the entire nation.
In a statement, Sharjeel Memon paid tribute to the sacrifices of martyrs and veterans, saying that their contributions for the protection of the country should be recognized and respected. He emphasized that minimizing the sacrifices of those who gave their lives for national defence is a matter of concern.
The senior provincial minister said that the Pakistan Armed Forces have made significant sacrifices in the fight against terrorism, protection of national borders, and safeguarding the country’s security. He added that respecting these sacrifices is a national and moral responsibility of every Pakistani citizen.
Sharjeel Memon further stated that the sacrifices of families of martyrs should never be overlooked. He said that irresponsible comments or statements against those who sacrificed their lives and their families’ contributions are unacceptable.
He noted that democracy provides citizens with the right to express differences of opinion, but criticism should not cross the limits of respect for national institutions and the families of martyrs. According to him, negative remarks against those who served the country do not contribute to national unity.
The Sindh minister also highlighted the need to separate political disagreements from matters related to national security and respect for institutions responsible for defending the country. He urged political and social circles to avoid language that could hurt the sentiments of national institutions or the relatives of martyrs.
His statement comes amid ongoing public discussions about the role and sacrifices of security forces in Pakistan. Officials and political leaders frequently emphasize the importance of honoring individuals who have lost their lives during military operations and efforts to maintain national security.
Sharjeel Memon reiterated that national unity requires respect for those who have contributed to the country’s defence and stability. He said that acknowledging the sacrifices of martyrs is essential for maintaining collective responsibility and appreciation for the nation’s security efforts.
