National ( The cow news digital ) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has described the constitutional petition seeking the restoration of former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur as a political conspiracy, saying that decisions regarding the province’s top leadership can only be made by party founder Imran Khan.

Speaking to the media after a parliamentary party meeting, Barrister Gohar said the session continued for nearly eight hours and focused on the country’s political situation as well as internal party matters. He stated that concerns were raised regarding the health and prison conditions of Bushra Bibi, claiming she was not being provided proper facilities.

He also criticized the treatment of Imran Khan, calling it unconstitutional and inhumane. According to him, the PTI founder is not being allowed to meet people freely, and the party has decided to intensify demands for his release and immediate hearings in pending legal cases.

Barrister Gohar stressed that the party stands firmly against any “minus Imran Khan” formula and warned that any attempt to sideline the former prime minister would be strongly resisted. He added that PTI fully supports decisions being taken under the leadership of Mahmood Khan Achakzai.

The PTI chairman further announced that the party would hold a protest demonstration and urged supporters and the public to participate actively.

Commenting on reports that PTI lawmaker Sher Afzal Marwat had filed a petition in the constitutional court seeking the reinstatement of Ali Amin Gandapur as chief minister, Gohar termed the move an attempt to create division within the party. He said current Chief Minister Sohail Afridi was appointed with the approval of Imran Khan and that the decision could not be reversed.

He also appreciated Ali Amin Gandapur for issuing a clarification on the matter, saying it reflected political maturity and loyalty to party policy.

Political observers believe the latest developments indicate growing internal tensions within PTI as the party continues to face political pressure and legal challenges across the country.
