National ( The cow news digital ) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Salman Akram Raja has expressed strong disagreement with recent statements made by Aleema Khan and other family members of former prime minister Imran Khan, saying they do not fully understand political matters.
Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Salman Akram Raja said that Imran Khan’s sisters, including Aleema Khan, had approached him in the past and asked him to work with them. However, he stressed that political decisions should be made by experienced political figures who understand the complexities of governance and party affairs.
He further stated that he has been entrusted with responsibilities by Imran Khan and would consider stepping down if directed by the party leadership after a meeting with the PTI founder. He added that he would prefer to follow any instructions given by Imran Khan regarding his role in the party.
Commenting on recent disagreements, Salman Akram Raja said there are no permanent differences between him and Aleema Khan, describing the situation as a temporary reaction. He, however, strongly disagreed with her recent remarks and maintained that political decision-making should remain within the domain of seasoned political leadership.
Referring to a recent gathering, he mentioned that Aleema Khan had reportedly called for a large number of supporters, but the expected turnout did not materialize, suggesting that this may have contributed to her reaction. He emphasized that such developments should not influence formal political decisions within the party structure.
He also stated that he is willing to resign from his position if required but reiterated that he was appointed by Imran Khan himself. According to him, decisions taken by the party’s political committee, including the cancellation of a planned rally in Rawalpindi, were made in the national interest and should be respected.

The remarks highlight ongoing internal differences within PTI’s leadership circles as the party navigates its current political challenges.
