Prime Youth Parliament Members Take Oath in Peshawar

Peshawar (The COW News Digital)The newly elected members of the Prime Youth Parliament took their oath during a prestigious ceremony held at the District Council Hall, Peshawar. The event marked an important milestone for youth leadership in Pakistan, as enthusiastic young representatives formally assumed their roles.

The ceremony’s chief guest was senior journalist Amjad Aziz Malik, who also holds multiple notable positions: Secretary General of AIPS Asia, President of the Pakistan Sports Writers Association, and head of the China Window initiative. He administered the oath to the new office-bearers, highlighting the significance of their responsibilities. Provincial Assembly member, MPA Gurpal Singh, also attended the ceremony as a distinguished guest.

Alongside the oath-taking ceremony, a special assembly session was organized where a large number of youth parliamentarians participated. Members actively raised issues concerning their respective constituencies, with a strong emphasis on the challenges facing the education sector. Their speeches reflected the passion and determination of the younger generation to contribute meaningfully to society.

During the event, a formal vote of thanks was presented to the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, Amjad Aziz Malik emphasized the pivotal role of young people in shaping the country’s future. “This era belongs to the youth. The event concluded with the presentation of commemorative shields to the chief guest, Amjad Aziz Malik, and MPA Gurpal Singh. The gesture symbolized appreciation for their encouragement and support towards youth-led initiatives.
