The Ukrainian delegation was led by the Secretary of National Security, while the U.S. side included Secretary Rubio, President Trump’s Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, and White House adviser Jared Kushner. The Secretary of State highlighted that the United States remains committed to facilitating meaningful dialogue between Kyiv and Moscow, while ensuring that any settlement does not compromise Ukraine’s autonomy. As diplomatic efforts continue, President Trump’s Special Envoy Steve Witkoff is scheduled to travel to Moscow today. He is expected to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday, a development that may help determine the next phase of negotiations. Analysts say the upcoming engagement could prove crucial in assessing how willing Russia is to engage in substantive ceasefire talks.
