Small Plane Crashes in Central Mexico, Seven Dead

MEXICO CITY (The COW News Digital) A small aircraft crashed in central Mexico while attempting an emergency landing, killing seven people and injuring several others. The incident occurred in the industrial area of San Mateo Atenco, located about five kilometers from Toluca Airport and approximately 50 kilometers west of Mexico City.

Authorities reported that the plane had taken off from the Pacific coastal city of Acapulco. During its emergency landing attempt, the aircraft struck the roof of a warehouse before coming to rest on a nearby football field. The impact triggered a large fire, forcing emergency responders to evacuate around 130 residents and workers from the surrounding area to ensure their safety.
