INDIA:(The COW News Digital)Netra Mantena, daughter of Indian American billionaire and pharma doyen Rama Raju Mantena, is marrying tech whiz Vamsi Gadiraju, Forbes honoree and the co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Superorder (a New York-based tech platform that supports multi-location restaurants with delivery and takeaway operations), in a 4-day event in Udaipur, which started yesterday.

It is all set to happen across some of the city’s most iconic locations, including The Leela Palace, Zenana Mahal, the island palace on Lake Pichola and Manak Chowk at City Palace, with the formal wedding set for the morning of November 23 at Jagmandir and an evening reception. Guests depart on chartered flights from Dabok airport on November 24.

According to India Times, the celebrations kicked off with a sangeet that could easily pass for a global music festival last night in Manak Chowk. Karan Johar and Sophie Choudry played hosts, while Ranveer Singh did what Ranveer Singh does best, bringing the house (and Donald Trump Jr.!) to the dance floor.Kriti Sanon dazzled with Param Sundari, Jacqueline Fernandez grooved to Lal Chhadi, and Varun Dhawan, Shahid Kapoor, and even DJ Tiësto turned the night into a blockbuster.

Last time such a magnificent star-studded wedding event was witnessed was Anant Ambani’s, the youngest son of Indian billionaire Mukesh Ambani and the director of several Reliance Industries subsidiaries. But who is Netra Mantena – the billionaire heiress?

She is the daughter of Rama Raju Mantena, who is the Orlando-based chairman and CEO of Ingenus Pharmaceuticals, founder of P4 Healthcare and other healthcare ventures, with a degree from the University of Maryland. His pharma empire underpins these lavish Udaipur celebrations.
