China Reaffirms “Rock-Solid” Ties with Pakistan

World ( The cow news digital ) China has once again reaffirmed the strength of its strategic relationship with Pakistan, describing the bilateral friendship as “rock-solid” regardless of changing global and regional circumstances. The remarks were made by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during a meeting with Pakistan’s Field Marshal Asim Munir in Beijing.

According to China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the high-level meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation, regional stability, and ongoing strategic partnerships between the two countries. Both sides reiterated their commitment to expanding collaboration in areas of mutual interest, particularly defense and economic development.

During the meeting, Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized that the Pakistan-China friendship remains steadfast despite global uncertainties. He stated that the Pakistan Armed Forces have consistently played a significant role in promoting bilateral cooperation and supporting the broader strategic partnership between the two nations.

Wang Yi further appreciated Pakistan’s role in regional diplomacy, describing the country as a reliable and effective mediator trusted by multiple parties. He noted that China values Pakistan’s efforts in promoting peace and stability in the region and continues to support its diplomatic initiatives.

Field Marshal Asim Munir, according to a statement issued by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong commitment to its longstanding relationship with China. He expressed pride in what he described as an “all-weather and ironclad friendship” between the two countries.

He also highlighted China’s growing global influence and acknowledged initiatives such as the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and China’s global development frameworks, stating that these efforts have played an important role in promoting international peace and economic progress.

The Field Marshal assured continued cooperation from the Pakistan Army in supporting projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), describing it as a key pillar of bilateral economic and strategic engagement.

Both sides agreed that cooperation between Pakistan and China will continue to deepen in the coming years, particularly in areas related to regional security, infrastructure development, and strategic coordination.

The meeting underscores the enduring nature of Pakistan-China relations, which both countries have consistently described as a cornerstone of their foreign policy and regional strategy.
