World ( The cow news digital ) Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has stated that Iran is prepared to reach a balanced and fair agreement aimed at ensuring long-term peace and stability in the region.
Speaking in a recent statement, President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized that any potential deal must be based on mutual respect and international legal frameworks. He added that progress toward an agreement would not be difficult if the United States returns to what he described as adherence to international law.
His remarks came following a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which both leaders reportedly discussed ongoing Iran–US diplomatic developments and recent negotiations held in Islamabad.
According to Russian media reports, President Vladimir Putin expressed Russia’s readiness to continue facilitating dialogue efforts aimed at easing tensions in the Middle East. The two leaders also reviewed the broader regional situation and the prospects for renewed diplomatic engagement.
President Masoud Pezeshkian reiterated that if the United States returns to the framework of international law and respects the rights of the Iranian nation, then reaching a comprehensive agreement would be achievable in the near future.
In another statement, he stressed that any agreement must not be imposed unilaterally and should reflect fairness and equality between all parties involved. He further stated that Iran remains committed to pursuing diplomacy but will not accept pressure-based negotiations.
