UAE Sends 4,000 Tons of Humanitarian Aid to Gaza by Sea

DUBAI(The COW News Digital) The United Arab Emirates has dispatched a major humanitarian aid shipment to Gaza, with an Emirati naval vessel carrying 4,000 tons of essential relief supplies setting sail from the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.

According to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), the aid shipment includes large quantities of food items, medical supplies, and tents aimed at supporting civilians affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza. The initiative reflects the UAE’s continued commitment to providing urgent relief to vulnerable populations in conflict-affected regions.

The humanitarian vessel, named the Saqr Humanitarian Ship, was launched under the directives of the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi. UAE authorities stated that the shipment is part of the country’s broader humanitarian efforts to ease the suffering of Palestinians facing severe shortages of basic necessities.

Officials confirmed that the ship is en route to Egypt’s Al-Arish port, which serves as a key logistical hub for humanitarian assistance bound for Gaza.
