PM Shehbaz to Address UNGA, Meet World Leaders

ISLAMABAD:( The COW News Digital)-A high-level summit on the two-state solution for Palestine, co-hosted by Saudi Arabia and France, will take place today at the United Nations. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will attend the summit and address the global gathering.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the Prime Minister will participate in the UN General Assembly session from today until September 26. During his speech, he will emphasize the right to self-determination for both Kashmiris and Palestinians, and shed light on the ongoing crisis in Gaza.

The Prime Minister is also expected to present Pakistan’s stance on key global challenges, including terrorism, climate change, and Islamophobia.

The spokesperson further said that Shehbaz Sharif will attend high-level events and special meetings on the sidelines of the UNGA. He will also hold bilateral meetings with global leaders and UN officials, and meet with the US President alongside leaders from other Islamic countries
