Pakistan ( The cow news digital ) SLAMABAD: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Islamabad has directed authorities not to arrest Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders until May 21, providing interim relief in multiple ongoing cases.

The order was issued by Judge Abul Hasanat Muhammad Zulqarnain during the hearing of several cases linked to protests and political gatherings, including the November 26 incident, the Sangjani rally, and demonstrations outside the Supreme Court.

Prominent PTI leaders, including Umair Niazi, Rauf Hassan, and Azam Swati, appeared before the court during the proceedings. The court was informed about more than 230 bail petitions filed in connection with multiple cases registered against party members.

The legal proceedings are part of a broader series of cases filed in connection with political protests and alleged violations during public gatherings over the past year. The court’s interim relief is seen as a significant development in ongoing legal challenges faced by the opposition party.

The case will now proceed to the next stage of hearings, where final arguments are expected to determine further legal direction.
