World ( The cow news digital ) Saudi Arabia will begin receiving Hajj flight arrivals from April 18 as preparations intensify ahead of the annual pilgrimage season, officials confirmed on Sunday.
According to aviation and pilgrimage authorities, routine maintenance and arrangements at the Holy Mosques continue in Makkah as part of standard pre-Hajj operational procedures. The preparations are aimed at ensuring smooth facilitation for millions of pilgrims expected to arrive from around the world.
The Pakistan Airports Authority said that a detailed pre-Hajj flight schedule has been finalized for Lahore Airport, which will serve as one of the major departure points for pilgrims this year.
Under the schedule, a total of 101 flights operated by four airlines have been planned as part of the pre-Hajj operation. The breakdown includes 33 flights by Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), 29 by Saudia, 24 by Airblue, and 15 by AirSial, reflecting a coordinated effort to manage large-scale passenger movement efficiently.
The first Hajj flight from Lahore is scheduled to depart on April 18, marking the formal start of Pakistan’s pre-Hajj operations. On the same day, Saudia flight SV 5735 will take pilgrims from Lahore to Madinah, according to officials.
Authorities have emphasized that all arrangements are being made in line with international aviation standards to ensure safety, comfort, and timely departures for pilgrims traveling to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Officials added that coordination between Pakistani and Saudi aviation authorities is ongoing to streamline immigration, baggage handling, and transport logistics upon arrival in the Kingdom.
