World ( The cow news digital ) Reports in Saudi media suggest that a new round of Iran–United States negotiations is expected to begin on July 11 in Pakistan, focusing on key issues including sanctions relief, frozen assets, and Iran’s nuclear program.
According to the report published by the Saudi-based outlet Al Arabiya, the upcoming discussions are scheduled to take place after the completion of funeral proceedings for Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The timing of the talks has not been officially confirmed by either Washington or Tehran.
The report states that the negotiations will cover a wide range of sensitive topics, including the lifting of economic sanctions imposed on Iran, the potential release or restoration of frozen Iranian financial assets abroad, and ongoing concerns related to Iran’s nuclear activities. These issues have long been central points of tension between the two countries and remain key obstacles in reaching a broader diplomatic agreement.
Donald Trump, who has previously described indirect diplomatic contacts between the two sides as “constructive,” is reported to have been informed of earlier discussions held in Doha. According to prior reports, the United States and Iran engaged in indirect talks in the Qatari capital, where preliminary understandings on certain financial arrangements were allegedly discussed.
Following those Doha meetings, Iranian sources claimed that there had been progress regarding the partial release of several billion dollars in frozen Iranian assets held abroad. However, U.S. officials reportedly rejected these claims, stating that no formal agreement on asset unfreezing had been reached at that stage.
Diplomatic observers note that the choice of Pakistan as a potential venue, if confirmed, would reflect Islamabad’s continuing role as a neutral facilitator in regional and international negotiations. Pakistan has historically maintained relations with both Washington and Tehran, which has allowed it to serve as a possible intermediary in sensitive diplomatic engagements.

Despite these reports, neither Iranian nor U.S. authorities have issued an official statement confirming the date, location, or agenda of the proposed talks. As a result, the developments remain unverified at the official level.
If the negotiations proceed as reported, they are expected to attract significant international attention, particularly given the longstanding disputes between Iran and the United States over sanctions policy, nuclear compliance, and regional security dynamics.
Further clarity is expected in the coming days as diplomatic channels continue to evolve.
