World ( The cow news digital ) Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has strongly condemned provocative and irresponsible statements made by his Indian counterpart Rajnath Singh, asserting that Pakistan categorically rejects India’s aggressive political rhetoric aimed at distorting established international facts.
In an official statement responding to the Indian Defence Minister’s comments, Asif stated that such coercive language can neither alter the disputed status of Indian-Administered Jammu and Kashmir nor contribute to regional peace or meaningful dialogue. He emphasized that Jammu and Kashmir remains an internationally recognized dispute, awaiting resolution in accordance with relevant United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
Rebutting New Delhi’s allegations against Pakistan, the Defence Minister noted that India’s repeated attempts to malign Pakistan carry no credibility given its own documented record of state-sponsored terrorism and destabilizing activities in the region. Asif described India as the primary sponsor of terrorism and instigator of instability in South Asia, accusing it of holding regional peace hostage to aggressive expansionist ambitions.
Highlighting risks to regional stability, the minister warned that such belligerent rhetoric heightens the potential for inter-state conflict. He reiterated that while Pakistan remains committed to peace and dialogue, its resolve to defend its sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security remains firm and unquestionable.
Asif concluded that the Indian leadership’s aggressive posturing serves merely as a distraction tactic to divert attention from growing domestic unrest and public opposition to authoritarian policies within India.
