Islamabad (The COW News Digital) Pakistan’s veteran actress Bushra Ansari has expressed strong disappointment over the alleged insensitive behaviour of her daughter Nariman Ansari’s former in-laws, sharing emotional details about the challenges her daughter has faced following her separation.
In a recent vlog, the celebrated television actress spoke candidly about her daughter’s experiences during and after her marriage. Bushra Ansari highlighted what she described as a lack of compassion from her daughter’s former in-laws, particularly towards Nariman and her children following the separation.
According to Bushra Ansari, Nariman had made considerable efforts to maintain cordial relations with her former husband’s family. She reportedly cared for her mother-in-law and sisters-in-law, treated them with respect and even invited them to Canada, where she extended hospitality and support.
However, the actress expressed disappointment that these efforts were seemingly not reciprocated. She claimed that following the separation, Nariman’s former in-laws did not even inquire about her well-being or that of her children.
Bushra Ansari questioned how family relationships could deteriorate to such an extent that grandparents would allegedly distance themselves from their own grandchildren. She expressed particular concern over the apparent lack of emotional support extended to the children during a difficult period in their lives.
The veteran actress acknowledged that disagreements between a husband and wife are a personal matter and can arise for various reasons. Nevertheless, she stressed that elders should demonstrate maturity, understanding and compassion, especially when children are involved.
According to her, family disputes should not become a reason for grandparents to neglect their relationship with their grandchildren. She suggested that elders should adopt a broader perspective and avoid allowing marital disagreements to affect innocent children.
Bushra Ansari also shed light on the financial difficulties her daughter has allegedly experienced throughout her marriage and after the separation. She described Nariman as a single mother who has had to manage responsibilities largely on her own.
The actress reportedly claimed that her daughter had effectively been raising her children independently even during the marriage, as her former husband allegedly did not contribute adequately towards household expenses.
She further revealed that she had personally arranged a home for her daughter and son-in-law, adding that her former son-in-law had allegedly benefited from the arrangement.
The revelations have brought renewed attention to the emotional and financial challenges faced by women following marital separation, particularly mothers who are responsible for raising children without sufficient support.
Bushra Ansari’s comments also highlight the importance of maintaining healthy family relationships despite personal disagreements.
