World ( The cow news digital ) The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism has launched a major incentive campaign, titled “Invite Dubai,” offering residents rewards worth up to 3,000 UAE Dirhams (AED) to bring family and friends from abroad to visit the emirate.

Under the newly announced scheme, UAE residents can nominate non-resident relatives or friends to visit Dubai on a valid tourist visa. Upon their arrival, the host will receive an exclusive rewards package featuring luxury hotel stays, dining discounts, and entry tickets to prominent entertainment attractions. Residents can claim benefits for up to three guests, provided the visitors arrive in Dubai by October 31, with rewards redeemable through December.

The initiative comes as Dubai’s tourism sector faces headwinds following regional instability and conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran, which disrupted international travel and affected regional airspace. Despite welcoming nearly 20 million international visitors in 2025, recent security concerns led to flight suspensions, reduced hotel occupancy rates, and temporary maintenance closures across major hospitality venues, including the Burj Al Arab.

The campaign has received an overwhelming response, recording over 10,000 applications within its first 48 hours. Alongside government incentives, local hotels and tourism operators are offering promotional discounts of up to 45 percent and complimentary stays to accelerate the recovery of Dubai’s travel sector.
