World ( The cow news digital ) Tensions between the United States and Iran have entered a dangerous phase after Iran reportedly launched attacks on American military facilities in Jordan, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait in response to recent US airstrikes on Iranian targets.
According to international media reports, Iranian forces used ballistic missiles and drones to target locations linked to the US military presence across the region. The attacks have raised concerns of a wider conflict in the Middle East as both sides continue exchanging threats and military strikes.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for targeting US positions and warned that any further American attacks on Iran would result in strikes against US military installations throughout the region.
Iranian state media reported that 10 ballistic missiles were launched toward the Azraq military base in Jordan, where American military personnel are stationed. However, Jordanian authorities said their air defense systems intercepted incoming missiles and prevented damage. Officials stated that no casualties or significant destruction were reported.
Iran also claimed drone attacks against US-linked facilities in Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait. Iranian officials said Patriot missile defense systems in Kuwait, early warning systems in Qatar, and fuel storage facilities used by US forces in Bahrain were targeted.
Authorities in Kuwait said their defense forces intercepted multiple missiles and drones, while Bahrain also announced that it had successfully prevented an aerial attack. Qatar did not immediately confirm any major damage from the reported incident.
Meanwhile, the US military said it had carried out strikes on nearly 90 targets inside Iran over the previous two days. The US Central Command stated that the operations focused on military infrastructure, including air bases, missile launch sites, and other strategic facilities.
Iranian officials claimed that the US attacks caused civilian and military casualties, with the country’s health authorities reporting deaths and injuries. Iranian officials also accused Washington of targeting areas near the Bushehr nuclear power facility, although no confirmation of damage to the nuclear site was provided.
The escalation has also affected regional transportation and trade routes. Iranian authorities alleged that American strikes damaged key railway infrastructure, including a bridge connected to important trade routes with China and Russia.
Diplomatic efforts are underway to prevent further escalation. Qatar’s leadership has contacted Iranian officials and called for dialogue between Washington and Tehran, urging both sides to reduce tensions and return to diplomatic negotiations.
