KARACHI: In a significant development regarding the Mir Raza murder case, a newly formed investigation team visited the crime scene where the victim’s body was discovered to conduct a detailed review of the evidence.
According to sources, the victim’s parents accompanied the investigation team to the location, while SSP Ali Raza, a key member of the team, personally inspected the area. During the visit, authorities also questioned the nursery employee who had originally spotted the body. The gardener, Yasir, provided police with crucial information regarding the incident.
Police officials meticulously examined the crime scene and surrounding areas, photographing the location to preserve physical evidence for the ongoing probe.
Meanwhile, sources revealed that the Forensic Laboratory at the University of Karachi has received six samples related to the Mir Raza case for DNA testing. The received samples include four from the deceased body and two reference samples from the victim’s parents. The forensic DNA test results are expected to be handed over to the police soon, which is anticipated to speed up the investigation.
