World ( The cow news digital ) Following widespread and intense youth-led demonstrations across the country, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the establishment of fast-track courts to prosecute individuals involved in national examination paper leaks.
Taking to social media platform X, Prime Minister Modi stated that the welfare and future of the nation’s youth remain paramount. “We have decided to establish fast-track courts to ensure swift and strict punishment for those involved in paper leaks. Those who attempt to compromise the future of our youth will not be spared,” the Prime Minister wrote in his post.
However, representatives of the youth movement, the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), characterized the Prime Minister’s announcement—coming after six weeks of persistent demonstrations—as insufficient. CJP spokesperson Ashutosh Ranka confirmed that peaceful sit-ins will persist until Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tenders his resignation.
“It is commendable that the Prime Minister has finally taken notice after six months of protests, but the fundamental question remains: why are paper leaks occurring in the first place?” Ranka stated, attributing the systemic lapses to administrative incompetence within the ministry. The youth coalition reiterated its stance, maintaining that assemblies will continue until political accountability is fully realized.
