The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecasted that intense heat will persist across various cities of the country today.
According to weather experts, Lahore is expected to experience a continued rise in temperatures, with the minimum expected temperature being 24°C and the maximum reaching 41°C. Currently, the city’s temperature stands at 32°C.
The department has predicted that temperatures could climb as high as 42°C in the coming days. Wind speeds are recorded at 5 km/h, and the humidity level is at 17%.
On the other hand, the weather in Karachi is also expected to remain hot and humid today. The current temperature in Karachi is recorded at 30°C, and it is anticipated to rise to between 36°C and 38°C during the day.
Meteorological officials have stated that a new weather system, which is expected to bring rain, will enter the country by April 30. Starting from May 1, showers are expected in Lahore and other parts of Punjab, with a decrease in temperatures likely to follow.
