KP Police Uniform Design Change Approved for 2026 Rollout

World ( The cow news digital ) The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police has officially approved a major revision in its uniform design, marking a significant step toward standardization and institutional reform within the provincial police force. According to official documents, the new uniform regulations will come into effect from July 1, 2026.

The Inspector General (IG) of KP Police has issued formal orders for the implementation of the “Police Uniform Regulations 2026,” under which the design, color scheme, badges, footwear, and caps of the police uniform will be standardized across the entire province. The objective of this decision is to ensure uniformity, improve professional identity, and enhance the overall institutional image of the police force.

As per the official notification, police personnel serving in the merged districts will also adopt the same uniform design as officers in other districts of the province. This move is aimed at eliminating disparities in appearance and creating a unified identity for all law enforcement personnel operating under the KP Police command.

Authorities have stated that the revised uniform policy is part of broader administrative reforms designed to modernize policing standards in the province.
