Security sources said that in the Ghulam Khan sector along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, an افغان post was completely destroyed. In the Azam Warsak sector, the Shaga post was also eliminated. Meanwhile, in the Qila Saifullah sector, Pakistani forces foiled an infiltration attempt, killing multiple militants during the exchange of fire.
Additional operations in the same sector reportedly resulted in the destruction of the Rahim Thana post and the High Jirga Thana post, both said to be under Afghan Taliban control.
The military campaign comes amid escalating tensions between Islamabad and the Afghan Taliban regime over cross-border militancy and security concerns. Pakistani authorities have repeatedly accused militant groups of launching attacks from Afghan soil, allegations that Kabul has denied in the past.
No immediate response was available from Afghan Taliban officials regarding the latest claims.
The situation along the border remains tense, with heightened military activity raising concerns about broader regional stability. Pakistani officials maintain that the operation is aimed at safeguarding national security and preventing further infiltration attempts.
As developments continue, regional observers are closely monitoring the evolving security landscape between the two neighboring countries.
