Islamabad( The COW News Digital)Pakistani actress and host Nida Yasir is very much prone to social media trolling and internet scrutiny, with her weird questions going viral.

Now, the 51-year-old actress has again found herself in hot water after she was criticised for her condolences for the channel’s youngest on-camera member, Umer Shah.

For the unversed, the little star of ARY’s Ramzan transmission Shan-e-Ramzan, and the younger brother of Peechay To Dekho fame Ahmad Shah, Umer Shah, suddenly passed away on September 15.

Since this innocent soul was part of ARY Digital for a long time and was the apple of the viewers’ eye, his shocking demise left everyone saddened.

The next morning, as usual, Nida appeared on her morning show, Good Morning Pakistan, which also marked the celebration of the 25th anniversary of ARY Media Group.

She began her show with an obituary for Umer Shah’s death, but it didn’t sit well with the netizens.

She received backlash on social media for offering condolences while wearing festive attire and for her choice of words.

Many viewers felt that her dress looked more like bridal wear than something sober for the occasion, stating that she, as usual, was more concerned about ratings than genuine grief for Shah, who was an integral part of the ARY family.

Following the criticism, she dedicated her morning show of September 19 to Umer and mourned with Wasim Badami, who was very close to the family, and other participants, but viewers called this move a TRP stunt.
