Abbottabad (The COW News Digital) Commander National Strategic Command General Syed Aamer Raza has warned that Pakistan will not tolerate cross-border infiltration, declaring that the country’s armed forces remain prepared to defend every part of the national territory.
Addressing the passing-out parade at the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) in Kakul, General Raza congratulated the graduating cadets and their parents, praising their achievements and highlighting the responsibilities they will assume as officers in the armed forces.
He told the cadets that the security, dignity and protection of Pakistan would rest heavily on their shoulders. He urged them to play an active role in safeguarding the country and to face the challenges of their professional careers with courage and determination.
The commander emphasised that integrity, bravery and courage were essential qualities for effective leadership. He encouraged the graduating officers to uphold these principles while serving the nation and fulfilling their military duties.
General Raza also welcomed the participation of female cadets, describing their presence as a source of pride. He said Pakistan’s armed forces had demonstrated their capabilities across different fields.
Reiterating the military’s commitment to national security, he said Pakistani troops remained ready to protect the country’s territory and that courageous personnel continued to make sacrifices for its defence.
He issued a clear warning against attempts to cross Pakistan’s borders unlawfully, saying such infiltration would not be tolerated under any circumstances. His remarks underscored the military’s stated resolve to protect the country against external threats and maintain territorial security.
The commander also referred to recent regional tensions, saying Pakistan had played a constructive role at the international level. He said the country’s efforts to reduce tensions and facilitate mediation had attracted attention around the world.
His comments highlighted Pakistan’s position that diplomatic engagement and regional stability should accompany efforts to address security challenges. However, he stressed that the country’s armed forces would remain prepared to respond to threats against its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Turning to international issues, General Raza called for an end to human rights violations in Palestine. He also described the Kashmir dispute as an unresolved international issue that should be settled in accordance with United Nations Security Council resolutions.
The remarks at the passing-out parade combined a message of military preparedness with calls for principled leadership, regional stability and the resolution of longstanding international disputes.
The ceremony marked an important milestone for the graduating cadets as they prepare to begin their professional military service. General Raza’s address placed particular emphasis on their responsibility to uphold the country’s security, demonstrate integrity in leadership and remain committed to protecting Pakistan.
His warning on cross-border infiltration also reinforced the military’s stated position that safeguarding national territory remains a central priority amid continuing regional security concerns.
