World ( The cow news digital ) Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has warned the government that if he issues a single call, people from across Pakistan will march towards Islamabad, urging authorities to adopt responsible political conduct and avoid pushing the situation toward confrontation.

Addressing a “Shaheed-e-Islam Conference” in Charsadda, the JUI-F leader said that the current rulers were not capable of effectively running the country. He stressed that every citizen was seeking peace, but warned that continued political mismanagement could lead to widespread unrest.

“Do not force us into a situation where we have to respond. If we give one call, the entire country will move towards Islamabad,” he said, cautioning the government against escalating tensions. Using a metaphor, he added that if access is not easy, sometimes “you have to bend your finger to get the ghee out of the container,” implying that different strategies may be used if direct approaches fail.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman also referred to the killing of Maulana Sheikh Idris, describing it not as the loss of a single family but as a tragedy for the entire community. He said the “spirit” of the deceased remained alive and vowed that such sacrifices would not weaken their resolve.

He reiterated that his party would continue to strive for what he described as an Islamic transformation in the country. According to him, decades of religious leadership in the region had once ensured peace, while its marginalization had led to unrest and instability.

The JUI-F chief further stated that the current rulers were unfit to govern and that sectarian, ethnic, and regional divisions had been deliberately encouraged in society. However, he claimed that his party had consistently rejected politics based on hatred and division.

Referring to security challenges in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, he expressed concern over the rising loss of life and questioned why terrorism appeared concentrated in certain regions, while other Muslim-majority countries remained comparatively stable.

He alleged that global powers were using instability and violence to advance their own strategic interests, contributing to ongoing conflict in the region.

The remarks come amid heightened political tensions in the country, with opposition parties increasingly critical of the government’s performance on governance, security, and economic issues. Analysts say such statements reflect growing political pressure and the possibility of future mass mobilization campaigns.
