National ( The cow news digital ) In an effort to address the country’s ongoing political instability, the federal government has formally renewed its invitation to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to resume dialogue.
The proposal was extended during a high-level meeting in Islamabad between senior PTI leader Amir Dogar and Speaker of the National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq, alongside Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry. Government representatives offered to hold negotiation sessions at any location within Parliament House chosen by the opposition.
Speaking after the meeting, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry asserted that direct talks remain the only viable path to resolving the nation’s political and governance challenges. He noted that the ball is now in PTI’s court, as the opposition leadership has yet to formally respond to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s previous invitations for dialogue. Chaudhry expressed hope that PTI would engage constructively with the offer to ease legislative tensions.
