In the 16th match of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, Lahore Qalandars secured a 5-wicket victory over Multan Sultans at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.
Lahore Qalandars won the toss and chose to field first. Multan Sultans, batting first, set a target of 186 runs by posting a total of 185/3 in their 20 overs. Captain Mohammad Rizwan led from the front with a solid 76 runs, while Kamran Ghulam remained unbeaten on 52 runs.
Lahore Qalandars’ bowlers Tom Curran, Haris Rauf, and Daryl Mitchell each took one wicket in the innings.
In response, Lahore Qalandars chased down the target of 186 runs in 19 overs, losing 5 wickets. Daryl Mitchell was the standout performer for the Qalandars, scoring a match-winning 64 runs. Sikandar Raza contributed with a steady 40 not out, while Abdullah Shafiq added 34 runs.
For Multan Sultans, Obaid Shah was the pick of the bowlers, taking two wickets.
Earlier in the tournament, Multan Sultans had emerged victorious in their previous encounter against Lahore Qalandars.
