Washington ( The COW News Digital) Former U.S. President Donald Trump has claimed that several Middle Eastern countries have offered to launch military operations against Hamas in Gaza if requested by him. The statement, posted on his social media platform Truth Social, has sparked widespread debate and speculation across diplomatic and political circles.

In his post, Trump asserted that “some of our great allies in the Middle East” had enthusiastically expressed readiness to intervene militarily in Gaza under his direction. “They told me they are fully prepared to enter Gaza with heavy force to help bring Hamas under control, should I ask them to do so,” Trump wrote, without identifying which countries made the offer.

The claim comes amid continuing tensions in the region, where international actors have been urging restraint and calling for a peaceful resolution to the Gaza conflict. Trump’s comments, however, suggest a far more aggressive stance — one that could potentially alter the diplomatic tone surrounding the crisis.

Notably, Trump refrained from naming any specific nation but referred to these states as “our existing great allies” — a phrase believed to include key U.S. partners in the Gulf region. Observers have pointed out that such an operation, if ever contemplated, would require significant international coordination and approval, which currently seems unlikely.

The former president also used his platform to issue a fresh warning to Hamas, urging the group to “choose the right path.” He added, “If Hamas violates the agreement, the consequences will be severe and devastating.”

Trump went on to praise Indonesia for its role in supporting peace and stability efforts. “I want to thank Indonesia and its great leader for extending full cooperation in assisting both the Middle East and the United States,” he said.

Indonesia, along with several other nations, has recently offered to send peacekeeping forces to Gaza to help maintain ceasefire efforts. However, no country has publicly expressed a willingness to engage in direct combat against Hamas, making Trump’s claims particularly striking.

Diplomatic experts have noted that Trump’s remarks may be part of a broader political strategy aimed at reaffirming his influence on global security narratives as he continues to shape his international policy stance ahead of possible future political ambitions.
