National ( The cow news digital ) Pakistan’s Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir has described the recent “Maarka e Huq” as more than a military confrontation, calling it a decisive clash between two competing ideologies that ended in what he termed a “humiliating defeat” for the adversary.
Speaking at a special ceremony held at the General Headquarters in GHQ Rawalpindi to commemorate the operation, Asim Munir said the event marked a moment of national pride and reflected the strength and resilience of Pakistan’s armed forces. He stated that the confrontation was not an isolated incident but part of a broader historical struggle in which Pakistan’s sovereignty and national resolve were tested.
According to the field marshal, the period between 6 and 10 May represented a critical phase during which Pakistan successfully responded to what he described as external aggression aimed at undermining the country’s national dignity. He claimed that the armed forces delivered a strong and coordinated response that reaffirmed Pakistan’s defensive capabilities.
Asim Munir asserted that India’s strategic ambition was to isolate Pakistan diplomatically and shift the balance of power in the region. However, he said such objectives would never be allowed to succeed. “Pakistan will never permit this dream to be fulfilled,” he stated, adding that the armed forces have historically resisted pressure and will continue to do so in the future.
He paid tribute to those who lost their lives during the confrontation, including women and children, and praised the sacrifices of military personnel. He emphasized that national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and dignity remain non-negotiable principles for Pakistan.
The field marshal also highlighted the role of the public during times of crisis, saying that citizens stood firmly alongside the armed forces. He noted that the response from civilians during the conflict demonstrated national unity and resolve.
Referring to military outcomes, he claimed that Pakistani forces successfully targeted multiple enemy installations and neutralized several strategic threats. He stated that modern warfare now involves multi-domain operations, including cyber capabilities, drones, artificial intelligence, and long-range precision weapons.

He also reaffirmed Pakistan’s continued political, diplomatic, and moral support for the people of Kashmir.
Concluding his address, he said Pakistan remains fully prepared to face any internal or external challenge. “When truth and falsehood confront each other, victory is destined for truth,” he remarked, asserting that Pakistan’s defence remains strong and uncompromised.
