The meeting is set for Wednesday in Washington, where both leaders are expected to exchange views on the ongoing U.S.-Iran nuclear negotiations. Netanyahu’s office stated that the Israeli Prime Minister believes discussions should also cover Iran’s ballistic missile program.

This comes in the wake of recent talks in Muscat, Oman, where Iran rejected U.S. demands to halt uranium enrichment. Regional diplomats noted that the discussions in Oman did not address Iran’s missile capabilities.

The upcoming Netanyahu-Trump meeting is likely to focus on strategies for curbing Iran’s nuclear ambitions and ensuring regional security, amid ongoing diplomatic tensions in the Middle East
