The victim, a young girl from the Alahabad area, reportedly developed a friendship with a classmate named Aamir. Over time, the relationship escalated, and Aamir began pressuring her under the pretense of love.
The girl, realizing she was being led down a harmful path, asked Aamir to marry her. However, instead of honoring her request, he allegedly recorded inappropriate videos of her and began using them to blackmail her. Sources report that Aamir’s father is a well-known and influential figure in the area, but he allegedly failed to guide his son appropriately, allowing the abusive behavior to continue unchecked.
Aamir reportedly demanded valuables, including gold and cash, threatening to release the videos online if the girl did not comply. Despite giving away her gold earrings in a desperate attempt to appease him, the harassment persisted. The girl eventually confided in her father, who, along with her mother, approached Aamir’s family to request marriage, seeking to protect her honor. According to reports, Aamir’s father dismissed the request, allegedly saying that multiple girls were pursuing his son.

On February 14, Aamir reportedly demanded 400,000 rupees. When the girl threatened to take her own life, he is said to have callously responded, “Even if you die, bring the money.” In a heartbreaking turn of events, she recorded her screen as proof of the blackmail and tragically ended her life by hanging herself with a scarf from a fan.
Authorities registered a First Information Report (FIR) four days after the incident, but critics argue that the charges filed were insufficient given the severity of the crime.
