Field Marshal Asim Munir Vows Strong Response for Martyrs of Pakistan

National ( The cow news digital ) Chief of Defence Forces Asim Munir has pledged a firm and uncompromising response to any aggression against Pakistan, stating that the country will ensure justice for every innocent life lost.

Speaking at a special ceremony held at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi to mark the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq,” Asim Munir said the event represented not only a military confrontation but also an ideological struggle in which, according to him, Pakistan emerged successful.

He stated that the armed forces responded decisively to what he described as attempts to undermine national stability and sovereignty. He praised the resilience of Pakistan’s military institutions and said the nation stood united in defense of its homeland during critical moments.

The Chief of Defence Forces emphasized that Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national dignity remain non-negotiable. He said the country’s armed forces, supported by the public, have consistently defended Pakistan against external pressure and aggression.

Addressing regional security concerns, Asim Munir said India seeks to isolate Pakistan diplomatically and alter the balance of power in the region. He added that such ambitions would not succeed, asserting that Pakistan would never allow hostile objectives to be achieved at its expense.

He paid tribute to martyrs, including women and children who lost their lives, describing their sacrifices as a national trust. He said Pakistan’s strength lies in its unity, resilience, and collective commitment to national defense.

Asim Munir also highlighted the evolving nature of modern warfare, stating that future conflicts would involve advanced technologies such as drones, cyber capabilities, artificial intelligence, and long-range precision systems. He stressed the need for continued preparedness in all operational domains.

The military leadership reaffirmed that Pakistan remains fully capable of defending itself against any external threat. He warned that any future aggression would be met with a response that would be “far-reaching and decisive.”

The ceremony included visits to the Martyrs’ Memorial at GHQ, where senior military officials laid floral wreaths and offered prayers. A military salute was also presented by a contingent representing the armed forces.

Officials reiterated that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully prepared to address both internal and external security challenges, emphasizing professionalism, readiness, and national unity as key pillars of defense.

The statement concluded with a reaffirmation that Pakistan’s security forces will continue to safeguard national interests in collaboration with the people, maintaining readiness against all forms of threats.
